It was mostly cloudy, cool 59° F, with moderate winds sustained above 10 mph, 7 ft sea swell and 4 ft wind waves. There were less people and animals than usual, especially for this active part of tourist season.

Five cnidarians or jellys approximately four inches in diameter were stranded on the beach. On average this is typically seen only a few days per month.

Small rocks, Seaweeds and seagrass, Shells, Animal casings or molts, Wood pieces. There were 154 wood pieces greater than five feet in length, two piles of kelp covered more than five square feet, 27 pieces of seaweed/seagrass covered less than one square foot. Three partial dungeness crabs were seen, but this is less than typical.
