Report Details

It was a cloudy day with mild wind which made it a lovely time for a beach visit. About 15 additional people were there enjoying the beach with about 5 dogs who were mostly off-leash, but well mannered. The most notable observations were an area with sand deposition at the northern halfway point of the mile, a bit more trash than typical (although still not an outrageous amount) and two graffiti locations. There were signs of burned driftwood at a few spots along the beach and one waterlogged wood plank with two shiny metal screws drilled into either end. Most of the beachgoers were enjoying a leisurely walk, playing fetch with their pups and/or searching for treasures in the tide pool or along the wrack line.
