Beautiful day!
Report Details
Beautiful day! Not too many people, and no dogs...which is a surprise. Picked up a huge piece of styrofoam and several small boulder-sized pieces. Also, picked up over 30 plastic bottles. No wildlife sighted...except for the ubiquitous gulls.

Temperature: 50 F. Cloud Cover: Sunny. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light. Tide Level: 0.0 feet.

Number of people: 7. Walking or running: 3.

Beached Birds
Total dead birds: 3. Grebes...probably the same sighted earlier.
Driftline Content
Seaweeds and seagrass, Land-based debris (picnics, etc.), Styrofoam, Wood pieces. Way too many plastic bottles!

Not a bad fall day for a walk with our out-of-town visitors, but walking the beach was impossible due to the high tide and big waves, which were reaching the beach grass area and bouncing large pieces of driftwood around.
