Access to the beach on the Salishan spit has become challenging. Beware of erosion and No Trespassing signs.
Conditions
Temperature: 46 F. Cloud Cover: Cloudy. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light.
Human Activities
There are no beach accesses on the Salishan spit (miles 237, 238, 239) that are usable except the very north end of Salishan Dr where there is a parking lot. Some have rope and caution tape across the path, indicating danger due to erosion. Others are marked with new No Trespassing signs. Those are placed by the HOA and may or may not be temporary.

Beach accesses are still primarily closed (No Trespassing signs) but a couple are usable (50B, 50, etc). Riprap project seems ongoing in some areas, but completed in others.

Beach was completely deserted today. The only usable accesses are at 50B and in between properties 281 and 283.
