Beautiful day to end the year and take a walk along this mile. Nothing to note, only a few birds flying around. One brave and skillful soul took to surfing today--it was obvious he knew what he was doing. I took a couple of pictures showing the difference in the bluff next to a newly revetted property.
Conditions
Temperature: 52 F. Cloud Cover: Sunny. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light. Tide Level: 4.5 feet.
Activities
Number of people: 8. Number of dogs: 2.
Man-made Modifications
New riprap or shoreline protection structures. Newly completed revetment work along this mile noted in a couple of places.
Start of mile 237 looking north.
Newly repaired revetment.
Disparity between newly revetted and older revetment, lots of bluff erosion.

Beautiful morning for a mile walk! If all of the revetment projects in process proceed with OPRD's approval there could be a total of 18 properties with construction/riprap taking place by June.
