Report Details

A beautiful day to be out on the beach, so why not report a mile or so? Nothing really unusual, in fact, I was the only one on the beach the entire mile up and back to my starting point. Just a few birds. It was an outgoing tide, so I could walk right along the water's edge.

Conditions

Temperature: 57 F. Cloud Cover: Sunny. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light. Tide Level: 4.0 feet.

Other Activities: I was the only one on the beach during my mile walk....

Notable Wildlife

Just a few birds coming and going...

Man-made Modifications

New riprap or shoreline protection structures. Just north of the end of my mile, a newer project is continuing with plenty of equipment and huge piles of sand dug up for the rocks and other material.

Beautiful morning for a mile walk! If all of the revetment projects in process proceed with OPRD's approval there could be a total of 18 properties with construction/riprap taking place by June.
