Beautiful morning for a mile walk! Very calm, hardly any wind and a sunny sky. Nothing really notable, just some unusual rip currents near a couple of stretches. If all of the revetment projects in process proceed with OPRD's approval there could be a total of 18 properties with construction/riprap taking place by June. All but 4 will require working on the beach with excavators and dump trucks.

Lots of Velella Velella in the wrack line this morning.

Man-made Modifications

New riprap or shoreline protection structures. Newly permitted group of seven homes obtaining riprap. Project just started, digging trenches for toe rocks on the south end of the group.
