A very un crowded spring/early summer walk. Surprisingly little trash and plastic found onshore lately. Thanks to our Coronado shores neighbors, we rarely have trash buildup on our beach.

Number of people: 10. Number of dogs: 2. Walking or running: 10. Sitting: 10. Other Activities: Walking and rockhunting. Very little human activity on this Mother’s Day
Beached Birds
Total dead birds: 1. Brown pelican
Driftline Content
Very little plastic in the wrack line lately.

A very nice spring walk on Father’s Day.

Throughout mile 235 and into 234, there were 13 dead Cassin's Auklets washed up on the beach, many just at tide line, 1 dead seabird, (long neck and white belly - see photo), and one dead sea lion. Much foam and bull kelp on shore.
