Most of the visitors were enjoying watching the high tides rolling in. The day was sunny and the wind was very light. The birds all appeared undisturbed.

The was a lot of Ball Kelp on the beach, more than you would normally see, other than that everything appeared normal.

I saw only a few surfers on the beach below the Devils Punchbowl state park trying to surf, but there was not enough wave action to surf.
