This was my first trip to this beach in over a week.

This was my first trip to this beach in over a week. The rain and high waves caused some minor cliff erosion and the sand is packed up to the cliff. I removed 21 plastic bottles about half of which had been piled up by the cliffs by someone else. Also found several bottle caps and other small pieces of plastic. No other types of debris found.

Temperature: 54 F. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light. Tide Level: 5.0 feet.
Human Activities
5 people walking and 2 flying kites. 1 dog on leash.

Peaceful, unsettlingly warm (for time of year) morning.

Relatively high amount of people, mainly dogwalkers, out early for a pleasant Sunday morning trip to the beach.

The beach fire close to vegetation, and somewhat close to access point was the main unusual concern to report, otherwise just the usual concern of trash.

Notable highlights: relatively small landslide at the mile's middle parking lot; large piece of shipping debris; large tree debris (unusual to see large natural or unnatural debris at this mile; the usual trash (though as usual, less than seen at miles 223 and 224 to the north); a bald eagle and barn swallows!
