This was my first visit to Mile 222.

This was my first visit to Mile 222. I think I found correct approximate area with my car GPS system. I have never been there before so I really did not know what the area had looked like privously. Karen Ebert emailed me and introduced herself. I told her next time I go down she can join me and show me the ropes.

Beached Birds
Total dead birds: 1. I noted one seagull that was washed up on shore by rocks. I do not know how it died.

Peaceful, unsettlingly warm (for time of year) morning.

Relatively high amount of people, mainly dogwalkers, out early for a pleasant Sunday morning trip to the beach.

The beach fire close to vegetation, and somewhat close to access point was the main unusual concern to report, otherwise just the usual concern of trash.
