Nothing new to report, other than the constant shifting of sand and rock appearance. There was a scattering/drift of long-stem yellow roses along the high driftline in the section between Wade Creek and Coal Creek. Otherwise, very little debris. It was truly a beautiful, calm, mild, overcast day with many families and individuals enjoying the beach.

Temperature: 57 F. Cloud Cover: Cloudy. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light. Wind Direction: SW. Tide Level: 3.0 feet.

Number of people: 26. Walking or running: 14. Playing in surf: 2. Playing in sand: 4. Sitting: 1. Spring break -- lots of people enjoying the day.Re: vehicles -- I park in the area above Wade Creek, which is where I count vehicles. There are two other parking areas with access to Moolack Beach, usually with vehicles I don't count.

Seaweeds and seagrass, Ocean-based debris (from fishing boats, ship trash, etc.), Marine debris (plastic, styrofoam, etc. washing in from the sea), Small rocks, Styrofoam, Wood pieces. Minimal debris, nothing large except for a 12' 4"x4" with dried out algae on it.

Relatively high amount of people, mainly dogwalkers, out early for a pleasant Sunday morning trip to the beach.

The beach fire close to vegetation, and somewhat close to access point was the main unusual concern to report, otherwise just the usual concern of trash.

Notable highlights: relatively small landslide at the mile's middle parking lot; large piece of shipping debris; large tree debris (unusual to see large natural or unnatural debris at this mile; the usual trash (though as usual, less than seen at miles 223 and 224 to the north); a bald eagle and barn swallows!
