Report Details
Beautiful sunny day on 220. Amazing to see the big chunks of rock/bluff/hillside continuing to fall onto the beach. 3 long black pipes are sticking out of the bluff (not further out than they had been previously). The substation project appears to be going full force, road has been widened and the bottom of the valley is remarkably changed.

Disturbances: Shorebirds moving in response to humans/dogs

Total dead birds: 3. COMU, 2 banded by COASST

New Development
Building is now in the bottom of the creek for the new substation at Schooner Creek, there is still lots of construction going on and the road is still closed to non-residents. Road access has been significantly widened in order to do the project.
Natural Changes
Landslides/major boulder falls, Major cracks appearing in bluffs, Newly exposed roots/trees falling, Erosion of vegetated foredune, Visible retreat of solid bluff.

A sad day for Mile 220, although the weather was amazing it was super hard and sad to see the tar globs in the mid-section of my mile.
