Beautiful day on Mile 220, one bag of trash collected. A fair number of folks out today enjoying the sunshine. The erosion continues along our mile. Thousands of Vellela vellela making for sparkling blue lines along the entire beach. Unable to do farthest south section due to large rocks which were too wet to cross safely.

Temperature: 49 F. Cloud Cover: Sunny. Wind Velocity: Moderate. Wind Direction: SW. Tide Level: 5.0 feet.

Number of people: 17. Number of dogs: 1. Walking or running: 6. Playing in surf: 1. Playing in sand: 6. Sitting: 4. Multiple young children at ocean's edge, got to do some education to parents about sneaker waves and the power of our ocean.

Small rocks, Wood pieces, Land-based debris (picnics, etc.), Styrofoam, Ocean-based debris (from fishing boats, ship trash, etc.). Vellela vellela along the entire beach, beautiful blue.

A sad day for Mile 220, although the weather was amazing it was super hard and sad to see the tar globs in the mid-section of my mile.
