Spotted 3 Pigeon Guillemots not far from Lost Creek, flying over water. Two Turkey Vultures taking advantage of the thermals over the bluffs. Otherwise, several Western Gulls and Crows.
Driftline Content
Small rocks, Shells, Animal casings (e.g., crab, shrimp molt), Wood pieces. We did not see much in the drift line other than occasional broken shells, rocks, sand crab casings and small crab carapaces. We did pick up some litter - a candy wrapper, some small bits of plastic and, most notably, 2 doggy poop bags, full.

We have noticed that during the winter storms the sand on the beach moves (presumably offshore) and then is redeposited during spring.
