Only about a dozen people were walking on the beach this lovely warm Thursday afternoon, but there was lots of shorebird activity.

Yellow monkey-flowers and clover blooming amongst the vibrant green mosses--green like new conifer growth--on the bluff seeps.

We have noticed that during the winter storms the sand on the beach moves (presumably offshore) and then is redeposited during spring.
