Report Details
The morning was cool (48F) and quiet, with a light east wind. The beach was relatively "clean" with some pebbles and small rocks but few shells. There was a small amount of plant material (bits of eelgrass and some scattered fronds of seaweed.) I only saw 2 gulls and some small flocks of birds far out to sea. I passed 2 people walking on the beach.
Conditions
Temperature: 48 F. Cloud Cover: Cloudy. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light. Tide Level: 5.5 feet.
Activities
Number of people: 2.
Notable Wildlife
It was quiet with little to no wildlife on the beach. I saw 2 gulls from a distance. There were small flocks of birds flying far out to sea. I could not identify them.
Wrackline Content
The beach was relatively "clean" with few wrack line contents. Most noticeable were pebbles and small rocks and occasional exposed rock ledges on the beach where sand had been pulled away by winter storm and tide currents.
Natural Changes
Landslides/major boulder falls. There was one area where a small part of the cliff above the beach had collapsed. Photo is attached.

I reported that the weather was partly cloudy: large Cumulus clouds but additionally there was some light rain. The only live wildlife we saw were birds: Whimbrels, Crows, Western Gulls, and one Brown Pelican.

It was a very stormy day but since it was so late in the year we wanted to do a survey while the tide was low, regardless of the weather. There was one place where there was recent erosion of the cliff.
