Beach is getting steeper due to wave action, but in general things seem fine. Winter storm action is evident everywhere. Giant redwood stump moved inland 15 feet--impressive!

Number of people: 7. Walking or running: 2. Severe winter storm action evident; now washing against bluffs in places, overall beach is narrower.

Sandpipers on beach, not a usual event.
Natural Changes
Newly exposed roots/trees falling.
Actions & Comments
A redwood stump, about 20 feet diameter and 10 feet high, moved toward bluff for about 15 feet. First time in 10-12 years that it's moved.

Mile two has had a busy week with the debri washing-up from the boat that sank in the harbor .

Beach was very normal and natural.

Beach was clear of all types of trash and in very good condition.

The shore showed very little change from prior walks.

The last part of mile 2 (ends at Red Point) I was able to walk because no one around to stop me when I went looking for permission to pass the NO TRESPASS signs.
