2 whimbrels,5 barn swallows,ring billed and western gulls, about 50+ Western sandpipers feeding at shoreline.1 common murre carcass.Dune excavation noted and reported to State Park Employee (Beachside state pk/campground.), who will look at it, and report to Tony Stein. Prevous " stay of the dunes" signage on this grassy dune no longer present.10 lbs of garbage, rope,plastic, shotgun shell casings, plastic bottles and caps removed from this mile.Pleasant interaction with interested Albany visitor.

2 whimbrels, several ringbill and western gulls, 5 barn swallows skimming shoreline for insects. about 50 probably Western Sandpipers moving and feeding.
