It was so good to get back on the mile for a full report! Enough sand has accumulated over the boulders at the bottom of the N steps that the way down to the beach feels safe. I'll check over the winter to see if conditions continue to be confidence-inspiring. Not holding my breath, though. The beach was very clean, as it so often is. Just pebbles, jellyfish, and bright green seaweed in the wrack line, and one gull carcass half buried in sand. There was a fairly stiff breeze blowing. A few gulls and two crows were all the bird life I saw. Bluff collapse has brought down some large chunks and a few small trees. I think I included photos of this in my dispatch from early in the summer but will post again just in case.
