The amount of small plastic at the water line at the Cummens Creek parking lot was striking, and not evident elsewhere. The amount of sand that has been washed out since my last walk here was impressive.

Notable Wildlife

About 44 harbor seals hauled out at Strawberry on my arrival, 2 remained on my return to car as tide was coming in.

Wrackline Content

Shells, Plastic debri (plastic, styrofoam, etc. washing in from the sea), Styrofoam. There was an unusually large amount of small plastic pieces on the beach at the Neptune South parking area.

A possible midden appears to be eroding at a little visited site between Neptune and Strawberry that I check.
