Cloudy, windy cool day. Not much activity. We walked the beach north as far as we could. Tide was still going out. Would have been better an hour or so later. Happy to report hardly any beach trash.

Cloud Cover: Cloudy. Wind Velocity: Moderate. Wind Direction: SW. Tide Level: 5.0 feet.

Number of people: 16. Walking or running: 8. Sitting: 6.

Other Activities: Not much activity.

Vehicles

Cars/trucks parking: 8.

Notable Wildlife

Over 50 Harbor Seals on rocks or swimming. A few gulls.

Wrackline Content

Wood pieces, Ocean-based debris (from fishing boats, ship trash, etc.).

New Development

Steps down bluff. Path down the bluff has eroded between the steps even more due to surface runoff. Needs fill repair.

Natural Changes

Surprised after all the winter storms that not that much wood debris on the beach. Picked up trash but happy to report very little trash on beach.

A very low tide is the best time to visit Strawberry Hill because that is when many hundreds of sea stars and green anemones are visible.
