The number of people enjoying the different segments of mile 188 was larger than usual on this beautiful weekend day.There were about 40 harbor seals at Strawberry. Fortunately visitors were maintaining a respectful distance from them. There were no other wildlife sightings that stood out.I noticed no new signs of erosion during this summer observation.

Apparent violations: I saw a group of 3 with some large kelp by their car, When I informed them it was a preserve, one of them said they got it in Florence. It looked fresh to me..
