The rocks are back.

The rocks are back. Very few birds about. Lots of sand disappeared since January. Surf line is littered with bits of plastic. No new landslides. Spring beach cleanup will be busy.

Ocean-based debris (from fishing boats, ship trash, etc.), Marine debris (plastic, styrofoam, etc. washing in from the sea), Wood pieces.

It was a beautiful day at Mile 188, with the resident harbor seals dozing on the rocks just offshore and many gulls flying around.

There were two mudslides on the north beach, 20-40 yards north of the parking area, that appeared to be recent.
