The sand was so low that rocks that are not visible in the summer were not only visible but many feet tall.

The sand was so low that rocks that are not visible in the summer were not only visible but many feet tall. South of Ten Mile Creek the loss of sand exposed cobbles.Dead sea lion was reported to the State Park representative.Large pieces of styrofoam had been tossed against the bluffs by the waves. We collected bags of the pieces and much was left. A local property owner told us that when it first started showing up some pieces were as large as refrigerators.

One newly dead sea lion. No sign of tagging. Reported to the State park representative and she went to observe the sea lion and called me back.

Reported the dead sea lion to State Park representative of our area.We filled bags with the styrofoam that was had been tossed against the bluff on the northern portion of the mile. A local property owner told us that when the pieces first appeared some were as large as refrigerators. It was thought they were from an upriver dock.
