Report Details

We saw 22 species of birds, the most we have ever seen on our mile since 2002. Two new species; 4 Common Murres and the most surprising, a family of American Dippers ( who live in fresh water), in the stream below the Tokatee Kloochman parking lot. We saw one adult feeding two babies. An unusual and restricted place for them to be. The Pigeon Guillemots were courting and nesting in the sand bluff. A very low tide with more rocks showing made everything look very different.
