The only sandy area is in front of the parking lot, south of that is all rocks and pebbles, appropriate for winter when the sand moves north. Six people looking for agates. There were 51 Harbor Seals sunning on the rocks at the far end of Stonefield. We saw 19 Surfbirds, 2 oystercatchers, 4 Harlequin Ducks, 14 Starlings, 18 Surf Scoters, 2 Pelagic and 2 Double Crested Cormorants. Gulls and crows. Several small areas of the bluff have collapsed. One good sized tree thrown up on the rocks. Nice day to be out there.
