It was a beautiful day on Ocean Beach and beyond.

It was a beautiful day on Ocean Beach and beyond. Seeing the blue heron was a special treat.We had the beach all to ourselves. The tide was out and the sand was smooth with no visible litter, rocks, seaweed, etc.

Temperature: 57 F. Cloud Cover: Sunny. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light. Wind Direction: N. Tide Level: 0.1 feet.
Human Activities
Number of people: 2. Number of dogs: 1. Walking or running: 2. We were the only ones on the beach. There were a few footprints left by folks who came earlier
Notable Wildlife
There were sea gulls, maybe 2 dozen, where Rock Creek flows.One blue heron was close to shore and in the surf by Nancy Creek.Many sea anemones in the tide pools north of where Rock Creek meets the sea.We saw a few hermit crabs.

There was lots of sand, few visible rocks and very little debris.
