Nice sunny day at the beach. Not a lot of trash. There were some large piece of wood debris with metal rods in them along the coast, possible old utility poles and also a folded up wire fence. Observed birds were having a carefree afternoon playing in the water. Human activity was limited to walking and and sitting along the coast. There was a small landslide, roughly 6 feet in diameter. No other significant observations to note.

Apparent violations: none.

Notable Wildlife

Spotted a flock of Seagulls playing the waves and cleaning themselves in Rock Creek. There was a flock of grey and white birds, possible sandpiper species, running a long the beach. I could not get close enough to take a good picture. Two Crows were hanging out in a tree by the parking lot , and a Pigeon guillemot was sitting on an outcropping of rocks.

Total dead birds: 2. no leg bands, the bird were too decayed to identify

There were some jelly like creatures along the shore, some clear and some orange.
