Nice day at the beach, escaping from the heat in the valley. Everyone was low key, enjoying the beach.

Concerns

Apparent violations: Found one full size, in good condition tire, hanging out by the cliff side. Could not tell if it washed ashore or was left there..

Notable Wildlife

3 black guillemonts nesting in cliff. Hard to see, they found an opening in the cliff and would fly in and out.

The wrack line was minimal. Some small rocks, and large clumps of seaweed here and there

Natural Changes

Evidence of wave overtopping. Possible wave overtopping. Lots of additional sand in mounds along areas of the cliff that were not there before. This stretch of each is usually very flat, today the beach had rolls in the landscape.
