It's tourist season again. Lots of visitors but happy to report that I did not find any trash.

Temperature: 67 F. Cloud Cover: Sunny. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light. Tide Level: 1.0 feet.

Types of Activities: Sitting, Walking/Running.
Number of people: 23. Number of dogs: 4.
Notable Wildlife
Only saw one Gull and one Osprey. White Crown Sparrow in the bushes.

Small rocks, Shells, Animal casings or molts, Wood pieces.
Natural Changes
Sand deposition. Wind events have caused many mini dunes along the beach.
Wind swept mini dunes.

The sky was a smoky haze today, but look at the wind sculptures!

I saw lots of tiny pieces of jellyfish broken up by wave action. Steam was coming from the sand. Sand level was higher than on my last visit.

Snowy Plovers in higher numbers than usual. Fewer people than usual.

Lots of rain in the last 4 days has caused erosion of the vegetated dune on the path and steps down to the beach.

Recent king tides have deposited logs and the waves reached the eastern limit of the beach.
