Report Details

Steam was visible on the beach as cool temperatures and sunshine combined together.  I noticed the sand cliffs were showing a slow process of erosion.  Fresh water seeps made parts of the south end of the beach appear wet.  The sand was flat, firm and wide.  Lots of seabirds were feeding on sand crabs.

Conditions

Temperature: 59 F. Wind Velocity: Moderate. Wind Direction: N. Tide Level: 1.3 feet.

Actions & Comments

Natural erosion of the steep cliffs continues.  Fewer people were present than usual.  The sand continues to increase and fewer rocks are visible.
