The loons are back!
Report Details
The loons are back! Several Common Loons and Western Grebes feeding in the Siuslaw River at the North Jetty. Lots of Bull kelp, Small Perennial kelp, and Feather Boa kelp scattered along the mile today. The previously reported dead sea lion was not found today.Very crisp and clear morning on the beach due to east off-shore breeze. High tides are continuing to uncover long-buried driftwood debris (see photos).
