Accessed beach from Tahkenitch Campground trail.
Report Details
Accessed beach from Tahkenitch Campground trail. Most notable change was to the north end where there has been considerable foredune erosion. Where the trail normally crosses the foredune to the beach, there was a sharp seven-foot dropoff. Beach was very clean. Picked up only half a garbage bag of trash. Only wildlife spotted was a couple of flocks of sandpipers and a curious seal. Saw an SUV parked on beach in legal area. Its occupants were surf perch fishing. No tire tracks in beach closure area. Beautiful sunny day.
