A lovely day for walking the beach.

A lovely day for walking the beach. It has been swept clean of shells; seaweed and large logs have been washed up to or on top of the dunes.Several large flocks of sanderlings in the waterline, with a large flock of brown pelicans flying north just offshore.

Very few shells or seaweed, beach was swept clean.Approx 100+ sanderlings in about 3 batches. 24 pelicans off shore.

Very foggy start to the walk, by the time we left the beach it was clear at 10:49am.

A beautiful sunny, windy day for a walk on the beach. Disturbing to see that an ATV had driven from past the north of our mile down to the bottom 1/4 of our mile in the Plover Nesting Protection zone.
