Late in the day for low tide, near sunset. People gone home! Foggy and heavy clouds. Wave action had wiped the beach clean almost all the way up to the foot of the dunes - I measured about 350 feet of space from water to dunes & high water line.A few animal casings and a smattering of small charcoal size wood pieces along the mile.

Temperature: 65 F. Cloud Cover: Foggy. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light. Wind Direction: NW. Tide Level: -0.9 feet.

Other Activities: None. Late in the day close to sunset, people were leaving Sparrow Park Rd parking area as we arrived.

Notable Wildlife
A few seagulls mixed in with the sanderlings or Plovers in groups of close to 50. These were on the north end of mile 152, none on our mile - 153.

Very foggy start to the walk, by the time we left the beach it was clear at 10:49am.

A beautiful sunny, windy day for a walk on the beach. Disturbing to see that an ATV had driven from past the north of our mile down to the bottom 1/4 of our mile in the Plover Nesting Protection zone.
