Blustery, dark day after very high wind warnings Sunday and the tsunami warning on Saturday. No one on beach.New driftwood & root nests, sand built up almost to the top of the foredunes, evidence of some wave overtopping. Beach fairly clean, some shells, small wood. Ocean water VERY foamy and waves large. Tide did not go out as fast or as far as we thought it would.3 seagulls and one northern harrier were the only birds.

Temperature: 50 F. Cloud Cover: Cloudy. Wind Velocity: Strong. Wind Direction: S. Tide Level: 0.9 feet.

No one on beach, it was a blustery day after Saturday with high winds and Friday with tsunami warnings.

Very foggy start to the walk, by the time we left the beach it was clear at 10:49am.

A beautiful sunny, windy day for a walk on the beach. Disturbing to see that an ATV had driven from past the north of our mile down to the bottom 1/4 of our mile in the Plover Nesting Protection zone.
