Beautiful day to survey the beach with 3 friends.

Beautiful day to survey the beach with 3 friends. We saw only 4 other people and 2 dogs. Found many small bird tracks, hoping they are from Snowy Plovers. Filled 2 bags of trash.

Temperature: 52 F. Cloud Cover: Sunny. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light. Tide Level: 1 feet.

Number of people: 4. Number of dogs: 1. Sitting: 3. Other Activities: None. Vehicles are not allowed on this beach.
Concerns
Notable Wildlife
1 flock of 7 pelicans flying along waterline, 2 pelicans flying over driftwood line, 2 small flocks of shorebirds flying along waterline, possibly Snowy Plovers. Photos of bird tracks attached.
Dead Fish or Invertebrates
Just 1 dead sandcrab.
Driftline Content
A few dead Velella Velella scattered along wrack line, but nothing like previous visit/survey.
