It was a perfect, and much-needed, trip to the beach with friends to do surveys and pick up trash. What a glorious day! Velellas didn't smell as bad as usual, and finding a Snowy Plover nest was the hit of the day!

Temperature: 57 F. Cloud Cover: Partly Cloudy. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light. Tide Level: 0.06 feet.

Other Activities: Empty mile of beach today.. No atvs allowed here.

A few seagulls and one crow. Came across a Snowy Plover nest near foredune. Photo attached. Area has since been fenced off by USFS.
