Warm, sunny day, minimal wind and went with 3 other people. Coast Guard helicopter flying over water and land for appx 1/2 of our time here. Several ships/boats - seemingly fishing vessels on water; quantity 7.

Warm, sunny day, minimal wind and went with 3 other people. We picked up 2 grocery size sacks of trash. Coast Guard helicopter flying over water and land for appx 1/2 of our time here. Several ships/boats - seemingly fishing vessels on water; quantity 7.
Conditions
Temperature: 64 F. Cloud Cover: Sunny. Wind Velocity: Moderate. Tide Level: 4.9 feet.

Number of people: 13. Number of dogs: 6. Walking or running: 10. Sitting: 3. Kayaking: 7. Other Activities: Mostly people walking shoreline with their dogs (off leash mostly).. 1) Narrow tire tracks along waterline, possibly Plover monitors.

Litter, People/dogs/vehicles in closure areas
Apparent violations: 1) Footprints inside Snowy Plover fenced area. 2) Vehicle narrow tracks near water, possibly Plover monitors? 3) Dogs off leash..Vehicles

1 flock of seagulls on top of water, appx 1 plus dozen. 3 squadrons of pelicans flying over water near shoreline. 2 small birds flying over sand near foredune. & 2 vultures.

No violations, but 3 manmade "shelter" type driftwood lean-to's build next to foredune.

The only time we saw other people was at the entrance to the beach, by the tsunami number sign.

The day was uneventful, the garbage not as plentiful as other times.

10 people on beach, including 5 birdwatchers, 2 dogs (one of which was off leash), people walking with off leash dog allowed dog to chase gulls and were pushing a flock of sandlerings down the beach in front of them.

We arrived at Wincheser Bay smack dab in the middle of Dune Fest.

There was much more plastic trash this time, than when we went in October.

The beach was mostly deserted and there were few birds.
