There was more sand on the beach than two months earlier as the iron ship at the Horsfall beach access point was buried again except for a 2 ft spike.

There was more sand on the beach than two months earlier as the iron ship at the Horsfall beach access point was buried again except for a 2 ft spike. Much groundwater moving out of the sand and toward the water, midway up the beach. a sandbar was visible south of the Horsfall beach access, so the tide was quite low. No wildlife seen. Shells, animal casings, kelp/algae, small rocks, wood, Styrofoam and plastic debris in the driftline. Low human impact (4)-walking with one dog.

No..erosion seems to be progressing at an even amount as the foredune steepens in winter.

On the last day of the year, the full sun, light wind and low tide in late afternoon made for a beautiful day at Horsfall Beach.
