Mile 121 Report
Gregory Point, Lighthouse Beach, Mussel Reef
September 19, 2013
Good infill on beach.
Report Details
Good infill on beach. Was excited about so little trash at first until I came upon two fire sites that were filled with discarded bottles and cans. Even a pizza box. Sometimes we humans are very disappointing. The house I keep mentioning as being ever closer to the edge has more visible landscape plastic flapping around. It appears someone put a fence up on land side. My perception is that this is not where the real danger is. Kelp/algae and wood pieces in the driftline. Five people on the beach, two were walking and woman and two young children were enjoying tidepooling.
