Good infill on beach.
Report Details
Good infill on beach. Styrofoam pellets from dock accident being buried by sand. Cliff sides and grassy areas above tideline still hold many pellets. Cove on south end had some concrete pieces of dock, and found one going north. Many heavy plank pieces near trail that people must have carried there. House at90051 Cape Arago Hwy: More fencing down and ground plastic flapping around. Dead trees on the south cove beginning to lean more onto beach, this has been a cormorant nesting site. Trees on lighthouse island dead. Island seems to be eroding quickly.

Visible retreat of solid bluff.
Actions & Comments
Yes. Contacted Oregon Shores about house threatened by erosion, and provided new owner's name and address. Executive Director Phillip Johnson said he would follow up to see what property owner intends to do before house falls down cliff, and have Oregon Shores' Coastal Law Project look into the applicable regulations.
