Some exposed rock, but not much considering the weather lately.

Some exposed rock, but not much considering the weather lately. Animal casings, large amounts of kelp, small rocks, wood, land- and ocean based debris, rope, and a large plank from a boat or dock in the driftline. Gulls and cormorants seen. No large changes in beach. Four people and two dogs walking on the beach.

Temperature: 52 F. Cloud Cover: Rain. Wind Velocity: Moderate. Wind Direction: SE. Tide Level: 3.2 feet.

No mammals seen. Birds were gulls and cormorants. Lots of kelp washed up.
Driftline Content
Seaweeds and seagrass, Animal casings (e.g., crab, shrimp molt), Land-based debris (picnics, etc.), Ocean-based debris (from fishing boats, ship trash, etc.), Marine debris (plastic, styrofoam, etc. washing in from the sea), Small rocks, Wood pieces. Large plank on second access perhaps from boat or dock. Some rope. What looks like a metal fence post sticking out of sand.
