Report Details
The dogs and I had the beach to ourselves on a mild, windless but cloudy morning around 5:45 a.m., shortly after low tide. No birds were in sight, though a dead, brain-pecked Common murre was seen. Several deer visited the water, judging by their tracks. North winds have mounded sand in interesting ways near the base of the dunes. Small rocks, shell fragments, kelp and an assortment of boat-borne litter were found in the high-tide zone.
