Mile 103 Report
Bullards Beach just north of the Lighthouse
August 22, 2014
A deserted beach on a calm, mild morning is hard to beat.
Report Details
A deserted beach on a calm, mild morning is hard to beat. Gulls, cormorants, whimbrels and sanderling-size flocks were out about their business of food gathering. Only litter to be found was small pieces of stuff vaguely like playdough. Consistency was firm, colors a greenish yellow or grayish. I've found much more of this and larger pieces on beaches south of here lately. Some had plant growth so they'd been in the water awhile.

Notable Wildlife
Gulls, cormorants, whimbrels, sanderling-size birds
