A lovely sunny morning with low wind and a minus 1.3-foot tide. Two dog walkers; 3 vehicles on the access road pullouts. Sanderlings were gobbling Velella velella laying in drifts along the high line. Gulls and Canada geese were flying over. Scattered small rocks, shell fragments and litter (plastic water bottles, Styrofoam, tops and hard plastic pieces) were in evidence.
