Report Details

Caught some sun between storms as did eight other people walking the beach. Tides had been high so the wrack was high with logs, seaweed and ocean-borne debris. Gulls dominated the sky and beach. One large immature gull was feeding a dead bird. Six other dead birds were observed (2 Western Gulls, 2 Northern Fulmars, and 2 Common Murres. One dead harbor seal was found.

Total stranded mammals: 1. Harbor Seal, dead, high on beach near base of bluff, about 100 yards south of the Sunset Motel.
