There were few people on the beach this day, only two and only one van in the parking area. The beach looked clean and typical of Paradise Point beach...pebbles, agates, bullwhip kelp and driftwood,...
  • Several clumps of red rocks were observed at the base of the cliff/bluff at Paradise Point. This appears to be erosion of the cliff near the parking lot. The red rock structure of the cliff can be seen in the gorse photo.

My friend and I picked up trash as part of the SOLV program. There wasn't as much trash as previous times. Perhaps the sand is covering it all up or maybe, just maybe, people are being more...
February 23, 2008 - [email protected]
A very quiet morning on the beach. My dog and I were the only ones there. Everything was very clean. There was quite a bit of sand build up on the foredune. There was evidence of ATV activity but no...

We still have to put our kayaks in and go to Agate Beach via Garrison Lake. It was the Fall Beach Clean Up Day so we cleaned our mile. Only 1 bag of trash and two big clumps of rope. There was...

It was a very peaceful, foggy, calm morning. Lovely for a walk. The ocean breakers were very LOUD, cracking like whips, but the sea was calm. The beach was very sandy and clean, not too many areas...

Lovely day. We picked up about 3/4 of a big trash bag of trash; 75% plastic bottles. Hopefully with the new water bottle bill that will make them worth a few cents, there won't be as many of them...
