Human Activities
Other Activities: Windy, rainy with hale - not much happening on the beach. Not a good day for humans on the beach.
Beached Birds
Total dead birds: 1.
Driftline Content
Small rocks, Seaweeds and seagrass, Animal casings (e.g., crab, shrimp molt), Wood pieces, Land-based debris (picnics, etc.), Marine debris (plastic, styrofoam, etc. washing in from the sea), Styrofoam, Ocean-based debris (from fishing boats, ship trash, etc.). Really lots of debris on the beach most plastics.
New Development
Bluff development. Lots of erosion from last week's storm (see photos).
Natural Changes
Landslides/major boulder falls, Major cracks appearing in bluffs, Newly exposed roots/trees falling, Erosion of vegetated foredune, Visible retreat of solid bluff, Evidence of wave overtopping. Lots of erosion from last week's storm (see photos).

Very little marine debris noted. In photos, note blocks of slumping dunes.

Dead sea lion, an eagle, and noticeable retreat of dunes due to wave erosion.
